you forgot ribery and Coupet, the best French goalkeeper. landreau was good at the beginning but now he is conceding a lot of goals. and frey is simply a joke. did you see his howler against Ukraine? clerc and rothen are not exactly the best in their positions. unless domenech is removed as the coach, france is going to have a hard time. how can he exclude a striker like Trezeguet? instead of bringing so many youngsters, domenech should select some players who have international experience.

henry is nowhere close to zidane. when france was struggling in the world cup qualifiers, domenech had to beg zidane to come back and lead them to the final. zidane could change the game in an instant. some french players have admitted that henry has bossy attitude which they dont like. henry is a great player, among the very best, but he is no Zidane



at present, france are playing horrible. although it was an entertaining match, france could not even defeat morocco, and conceded two goals. only diarra seems like a consistent player, and thats a surprise because he is not a first choice at arsenal. The FFF should seriously consider the coaching position and bring a new one like deschamps

there is depth in almost every position. there are some very decent players. but the key to french success is dependent on sagnol, ribery, thuram (he is a little too old now). these are the most important players for france that are actually match winners. viera is decent and and anelka, benzema and govou will prove crucial. not very impressive in goal.



some players are way too young and inexperienced. the squad is reasonably strong, but we have all the answers to france, germany or whoever.



i have to admit, french are second strongest team after us. the french are still very dodgy defenders and their attack does not show up against some quality opposition. if they lose ribery, they are almost finished. with us, we are less so in the situation.



even if get oldies like pippo or alex to play, they will deliver in a major tournament. i think it is impossible to beat italy. i could be wrong, but it will be very disappointing to see anyone else win.



i think it will be an exact rematch of 2000 euro final. only this one will have a better ending.
