Group D is pretty challenging for Iran.



Probably, Portugal will be first and Mexico will be runner up in Group D. Even Iran can succeed to be runner up, I don't think that they have a chance against Holland or Argentina one of which will be first in Group C.

i see iran as country with great history and a rich culture but led be a religious fanatic. therefore, in a political point of view, the country is bad.

they are a decent team. but they used to reky a lot on Ali daei, who is now retired. but mahdavikia is a good tricky player. probably wont get out of the group stages.

well i don't understand why people say that it's bad b/c i really don't bvelieve it is. so as i'm saying i really don't know so i guess i'm in between nor good nor bad.
