Diego Maradona made his World Cup debut on 13th June 1982 in Argentina's 1-0 defeat to Belgium in Spain. He was born on 30th October 1960; so he was 21 years, 7 months and 14 days old.
His debut for the national team came on 27th February 1977 against Hungary, but the Argentinian coach chose not to play him in the 1978 World Cup.
