2 uncalled fouls and now the referee decisions were worst in the first leg against Chelsea last season? I don't know how you bring the way Chelsea played into this argument, Chelsea chose their tactics and Barca chose theirs, as long as it's not cheating then you have no reason to complain, the FACT is Barca didn't win the first leg and that bothers you, whether Chelsea played cowardly or not is their choice, focus on how your team adapted and played facing their opponent not how the other team is playing.
In regards to the 2nd leg of that tie, the ref wasn't all for Barca, he did give a very undeserved red card to Abidal which wasn't even a foul but rather an Anelka dive. The issue here is how the ref is all of a sudden the friend of Mourinho because of 2 decisions...1 unanswered question, what about Milito's goal that was ruled offside when it wasn't? was the ref being Mourinho's friend at that moment? It would've made sense if the ref was Guardiola's friend really (only at that moment).
Inter's 3rd goal which was in fact offside shouldn't have been counted but if you want to consider the referee's decisions you have to consider ALL of them NOT some of them.
edit: and by "you" I mean whoever is blaming the referee.
Dubya: everyone is complaining about the ref, there is not 1 game that goes by without uncalled fouls or penalties, but going to the extent that the ref is a friend of the coach because of that is pushing it too far, and this goes to everyone, I'm not saying you're not allowed to criticize the referee, but do it fairly.
Dubya: I'm saying this to whoever IS using this excuse, I didn't say you made it up, but a lot are buying it and making it a primary excuse, instead of admitting defeat.
Look at this again, if the ref was Mourinho's friend, would the ref call a perfectly obvious goal an offside? the ref made 2 major bad decisions, 1 for Inter and 1 for Barca, that is through cancelling 1 perfectly clear goal and by counting an offside goal, it cancels out.
